Growing Fast! March 2015

Um, has it been two years since I posted on this blog? Well, anyway, this was awhile ago, March 2015, (Crazy!) but it was started so I figured I might as well finish it.  I hardly remember that long ago. Enjoy, and I will try and post a little more often!
Sweet Little Lizzie loves these chicks!

We only had one California White. It was a flyer, but worse than that, it was really loud! Louder than the other breeds so we got rid of it quick!

The Cuckoo Maran was suppose to lay a deep, dark brown, almost chocolate color, egg but we never got dark eggs--or did it turn out to be a rooster? (Should have posted this sooner!)

Well, we enjoyed our chickens and the fresh eggs, but eventually decided we enjoyed a yard without chickens more as Lizzie loved to let them roam all over the yard-what a mess!-so we found them a new home.
