Garden Fairies

I have spent a lot of time in the garden this summer. I usually have my little helpers "helping" or helping themselves as the case may be! (Good thing these are banana peppers not hot peppers!)

Occasionally Daniel has a minute to help weed. It is a never ending job! Makala, Caleb, Jospeh, and Hanna, were all on the weeding committee as well. Caleb, Jospeh, Hanna, and Rebecca also had grass hopper duty. They caught the hoppers and fed them to the chickens!

We transplanted strawberries this spring.

"Ta- Da!"



 

Hanna and Jospeh helped plant the 60 pepper plants. They did a great job of planting them and the peppers did very well. We are getting tons of peppers for salsa.



Rebecca and Jospeh picked the flowers. They added so much color we will be sure to plant some next year too!
 

I was surprised how well this picture turned out, and the close up is even cooler! These little gals are awesome pollinators. We are very grateful our garden did so well.
