Joseph's Eagle Scout Project
This is the before shot. There were no cages around the team benches to keep the team corralled and the younger siblings from visiting, so the city suggested enclosing the team benches.
Measuring and Marking
Digging Holes (Yeah, Brennan!)

Cementing the posts in and leveling it off.

Our neighbors BJ and Judd helping stretch fence.

Finished.
There were two benches, one for each team, and two fields, so a total of four dugouts were fenced.

As soon as it warms up, it is fishing time! Carp make great bait.

Still working on enclosing under the coop (where the feeders will go). Still need to get the fence up.
The Garden hasn't been planted yet, and the rabbits are loving the dirt.

Andrew is still fascinated with toads!

The Cop Car Burns at 3:30 in the morning.

I believe it was the windows exploding from the heat that alerted neighbors who then called 911.

Losing the car was bad enough, but the paperwork for Joseph's Eagle Scout Award was sitting on the front seat. It did not survive. It caused serious heartburn and delay to re-do the paperwork, gather the signatures, get an extension, do the board of review, etc. It took forever!

The origin of the fire was where the battery was located, so it is assumed the battery malfunctioned and melted and caused the fire.

Cache Valley Garden Market (use to be the farmers market) is a fun place to visit!

Becca, Andrew, Lizzy and some yummy catfish!

Look at the mouth on that fish!

Becca is home for the summer and we are excited to have her.
Lizzy

Ellie
I'm not sure why Lizzy has such a desire to color her hair, but this was one of the first attempts--food coloring, and it doesn't come out on the first try either.

 Lizzy's Birthday, June 22
Lizzy LOVES swimming so for her birthday we went to the Aquatic Center in Logan, Utah. Joseph met us there as well as Aunt Marci and the cousins. We had a lot of fun.

Joseph is never without his phone. It makes it handy to take pictures of whatever strikes his fancy, such as this campfire in their back yard.
 July
Saying goodbye to Oreo. Whether he had a heat stroke or a heart attack, he did not survive being chased around the yard by a stray dog. Very sad day for the children. (July 1, 1017)

Lewiston Parade
Ellie and Lizzy enjoyed the parade, especially the candy part!

Capturing the flames in the Kiln that Joseph made with his grandfather.

July 22, 2017 Mendon Days Pioneer Celebration
Drew and Marci invited us to spend the day and we rather enjoyed it. First were the chicken catching races for prizes. Very fun to watch. Then a parade, and various other activities.

Marci and I enjoyed looking at the quilt display in the old Menden Station.

Daniel, Makala, Becca, Hanna
Andrew, Lizzy, Ben, and Ellie
Joseph joined us later in the day for a picnic lunch. Caleb was working at a booth selling cotton candy. Andrew was Krista's partner and joined Drew and Marci for the Pioneer Marathon of activities and represented the square dancing leg of the race. All in all, it was a full day of fun.
