October's Blessings

One of our blessings is our family. We have enjoyed getting to visit with a lot of our family this month.
Makala giving the bow a try.
Marci and the cousins met us in Logan, Utah and we made a day of it at the Farmer's Market and the Park. The cousins brought a fun Nerf Bow that was really fun.

Ellie is definitely a blessing in our lives. She just gets cuter and cuter!

 Enjoying Fall at Grandma's house.
Cousin Abbee raked up a pile of leaves so we could take pictures of Ellie in the leaves.

Fall means canning. Makala found some grapes, so with an hour until dark, Jospeh and I and Lizzy and Ellie ran out and picked some grapes from a lady here in town.
Lizzy and her Fall Fashion Sense.

Another Blessing is good friends. John and Jen Ewing have been like family. We were so excited to go to see them and their newest, and daughter number three, little Brielle.

When we lived in Oregon, Loraine Ewing was one of the Tutors for the children when we did homeschooling. It was great to see her again.

Looks like a crowd! But it is just the Baker Bunch and John's family.
Fall also means hunting, one of Daniel's passions. This year was pretty wet and there were some funky fungus and fun things to see.

A fun find.
This year we enjoyed having Cousin Jack and Uncle Phil spend some time hunting with Daniel and the boys. We were blessed with a couple of deer, two elk, and Jack got an elk as well. (And great stories to go with them). We are grateful to have a full freezer!

Another wonderful thing that happened this October was seeing the Johansen Cousins. I had not seen my Cousin Heidi in about 12 years. It was so great to see each other and for our families to meet.
Playing games along with good food is a must at family gatherings.

Watching a movie outside the RV
Uncle Phil Ashby holding two of his favorite girls, Lizzy and Sadie.
Sadie is a good climber
Playing at the park was fun.
Great hair Jacobi!

Riding the Tandum bicycle was a first for the cousins and a lot of fun.

Last, but not least, is the Rubix Cube, which has entertained Caleb for endless hours and he has enjoyed teaching how to solve to most of his cousins.
This is the 4 x 4 versions.
