Saterday was the summer kick off at the Willow Park Zoo. They brought in some lambs and baby goats for a petting zoo. There were also activities and crafts for the children.
This little one couldn't be more than a couple days old.
This little earless goat was pretty cute. I believe the breed is the Lamancha, a type of dairy goat.
This little guy was very friendly. Or maybe just hungry.
The flowers were gorgeous!

| These two Linxs are a new addition to the zoo. |
The raindeer are new. They have hair on the bottom of their hooves to help them walk on ice. Also, the males and females have horns. (That was one of the scavenger hunt questions.)
These are wild turkeys that chose to lay their eggs at the zoo. Look closely, the little keats hatched that very morning!

these are the bubble wands we got at the Farmer's Market before we went to the zoo. Lizzy has found a another use for them.

Even though it was a cool and a little windy we really enjoyed the day. It started to rain just as we finished our picnic. A signal to head home.
