With a history of large babies, the doctors did not want me to go my usual week and a half late, so we induced labor on June 22, 2011. Little Elizabeth was born at 5:29 p.m. She weighed in at 7 lbs 6 oz and was 20 inches long.
Absolutely healthy!
Mom and Adriane drove through the night to get here from Idaho in time for the birth. They arrived at 3:30 p.m. just in time to help me through the final stages of labor.
A tired baby and a tired Daddy!
So adorable!
Makala was at girl's camp, but was able to hitch a ride home with one of the leaders for a good night's sleep in her bed and a quick visit to the hospital to see her new Sis, before returning to camp for the rest of the week.
Was she born on the 22nd? That's my birthday. No wonder she's cute. =) Congratulations!!
