Sometimes when you are on vacation and trying to visit lots of people in a limited time you do crazy things. In this case, squeezing 3 families in one small house: My Brother-in-law Sam, his wife Rachel and their 6 children: myself and 4 children; and my Brother Andrew and his wife Marci and their 4 children, for a total of 14 children at one house. Uncle Drew and Marci are heroes for being such a wonderful Host & Hostess.

Ever try and get 14 children to smile all at once?
(Makala and Caleb are on a road trip to Oregon so they are missing from the picture.)
Friday, the moms loaded up the children and headed to the Homeplace (Marci's parents) to see the animals and enjoy a little swimming.

Allie, such a cutie!
The best way to water your grass--flood the yard!

We should have gotten pictures of the kittens. The children were so delighted with them. There were two batches. A couple that were about half grown who patiently let the children hold them, and a batch of little wild ones that were quite nervous at the overwhelming love of the Loud Crowd. There were also some dogs; and a young puppy that Andrew was really excited about until he got nipped. He wasn't sure what to make of that.
