The last day of June, starting after sunset, is the first day of the Frogging Season. Poles and flies, nets or by hand, it is time to catch some frog legs!

Andrew thought it was quite fun, chasing them around the kitchen. (He doesn't get to crawl around in the grass because of the the vicious chigger bugs that try and eat ya alive!)

Frog Huntin' is Serious Adventure. First you have to protect yourself from the dangers of man eating bugs (long pants and shirts are best, with lots of bug spray), and poisonous plants (mean ol' poison Ivy!). Then there is the selection of proper location, enduring the car ride there (a solid 20 minutes which is torture if you are a 10 yr old boy) and of course learning the stealth to sneak up on fast jumping critters!
